Born in Kansas City, Kansas, Gay is the eldest of three children (one brother, one sister). Northern Virginia became her home in 1968, through a family transfer with IBM. While she greatly misses her large family in Kansas City, she cherishes hours of playful joy brought to life through the birth of her niece and nephews! Watching them grow and change, finding their paths in life, is a very rewarding experience.
